How to Download and Install the MEXC iOS App via AltStore
AltStore is an alternative app store explicitly designed for non-jailbroken iOS devices, allowing you to install .ipa files without the need for jailbreaking. This innovative tool uses your Apple ID to re-sign apps and enables wireless installation via AltServer on your desktop, providing functionality similar to the App Store.
1. Preparation Before You Start
- An iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.0 or later versions.
- A Mac or Windows Computer: If you're using Windows, ensure iTunes is downloaded and installed beforehand.
- An Apple ID: A regular account is sufficient; a developer account is not required.
- A stable and reliable internet connection.
2. Download and Install AltServer on Your Computer
1) Go to the official AltStore website and download the appropriate version of AltServer based on your computer's operating system.

2) Connect your Apple device to the computer using a USB cable, and make sure your device trusts the computer. As shown below, tap Trust on your device.

After downloading, double-click the AltServer file to launch it. You should see the AltServer icon appear at the top menu bar (on Mac) or in the bottom-right system tray (on Windows).
3) Click the AltServer icon and select Install AltStore to your connected Apple device.

4) Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Install. If two-factor authentication is enabled, you'll also need to enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your Apple device.

5) Wait for AltStore to finish installing on your Apple device.
3. Enable Developer Mode and Trust the Developer Certificate on Your Apple Device
1) On your Apple device, go to Settings and tap Privacy & Security.
2) Scroll to the bottom and tap Developer Mode.
3) Toggle the switch to enable Developer Mode. Your device will then restart.

4) After your device restarts, go to Settings and tap General.
5) Tap VPN & Device Management.
Note: If you're using iOS 17 or below, this may appear as Profiles & Device Management instead.
6) Under DEVELOPER APP, you’ll see an untrusted app with your Apple ID as the name. Tap on it.
7) Tap the blue Trust button.
8) In the pop-up window, tap Allow to confirm.

4. Install the MEXC App Using AltStore
4.1 Add the MEXC App Source in AltStore
1) Open AltStore on your device and tap Sources at the bottom.
2) Tap the + icon in the top-left corner. A search box will appear.
3) In the search box, enter "alt.mexc.com" and the MEXC installation source will automatically appear.
4) Tap the + to add it.

4.2 Install the MEXC App in AltStore
1) After adding the MEXC source, tap Add Source in the popup to confirm.
2) Tap the MEXC AltStore Source to open it.
3) Tap the FREE button.
4) Enter your Apple ID and password to sign in and start the installation. Once complete, the MEXC app will be ready to use.

5. Periodic App Signature Refresh
All apps installed via AltStore need to have their signature refreshed every 7 days, or they will stop working.
To refresh, open AltStore, go to My Apps, find MEXC, and tap to refresh both MEXC and AltStore.

If AltStore is no longer opening, it means the 7-day signature period has expired and you'll need to reinstall AltStore:
1) Connect your Apple device to your computer using a USB cable.
2) Launch AltServer on your computer, click the AltServer icon, and select Install AltStore to your Apple device.

3) Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Install. If your device has two-factor authentication enabled, you’ll also need to enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your device.

4) Wait for AltStore to finish reinstalling on your device.
5) Once reinstalled, open AltStore on your Apple device, go to My Apps, and refresh MEXC to continue using it.
